    Steve goes for 7 turnovers, Yao is gonna get winded by the run and gun game the Mavs play. Cuttino will also be bricking. Hope im wrong but a loss.

    how can steve have 7 to? because mavs' defense? when did mavs become a defense oriented team? must be over nite. i wish.

    Rockets usually lose when facing perimeter-oriented teams,but I hope this game is an exception.here is the keys that Rockets have to live up to.

    1>mad-dogged defence 2>more assist 3>less turnover

    nice to see some more optimistic entries lately.. winning heals all wounds I guess.

    I still cant see why the Mav's have our number? Mavs are not a good defensive team? I think our guys get into a shooting contest with this team and it plays against our strengths. I hope we can control the tempo and lock down their shooters for a string win and the beginning of a nice WIN streak!

    Normally I don't voice (type) my guesses in the game threads.

    Normally the negative guessing don't bother me.

    Normally I'm just home watching the games on league pass trying to enjoy it, win or loose.

    Not now though.

    I'm driving up to Dallas tomorrow morning for a studio gig this weekend and going to catch the game with my brother and cousin...both Mavs fans.

    I think I NEED THIS WIN more than the Rockets :cool:

    So, my prediction: I'm driving back to SA Monday morning with a **** eating grin.

    Talking about TO. i am watching 76er vs sonic game . Now i know we are not the worst case. SOnic is the man. ^_^.

    So Rocket can win the game , if they can keep their TO less than 40 and hold the pace of the game and take care of all the long Rebound
    creat by the MAV 's outside brick.

    By the way. the chinese BBall As. offically announced hire DELL HArris as the head coach of national team on national TV a few MIns ago. good for Yao ming and rockets .

    We got to control the tempo of the game. We should slow it down and get good scores in the paint. Get rebound and no second chance point for the Mavs. Don't get into a running game with them.

    Dirk Nowitzki has scored 91 points on 31 of 56 shooting in the last 3 matchups against the Rockets. Van Gundy has his work cut out for him trying to devise a defensive gameplan to stop him.

    If we can dictate the pace of this game, then we should win. But if Dallas starts running all over the place, there's zero chance we can keep up.

    So either something like Houston 88, Dallas 83. Or Dallas 105, Houston 91.

    Key to this game the Rockets have to score, the Mavs are going to try to keep Yao from being a factor in this game. That means a lot of zone and fronting and the so called "Yao Stopper" Shawn Bradley.
