    César Salazar was placed on the IL in Quad Cities yesterday, so he and Alex Holderbach, the River Bandits' primary catchers, are both out for the time being.

    Ronnie Dawson was also placed on Corpus Christi's IL, which was why Martinez was summoned. Willy Collado also joins the Hooks from Fayetteville.

    Collado has a big chance in AA. Could get a lot of attention if he keeps pitching well.

    Correa got called up on June 8, 2015 to avoid Super 2.
    This season started earlier than 2015.
    I think we could see Alvarez on Saturday in Minute Maid.

    Thoughts ?

    I don’t think Alvarez will be up until the Astros are sure they won’t trade him. I predict he will be promoted or traded in July.

    A full healthy Astros lineup with Tucker and Alvarez instead of Reddick and White should be awesome.

    I love Reddick but man, we're going to have an OF crunch issue. I expect he gets traded this offseason. Gonna really miss him but remember, pro sports is a business.
