I'm gonna say Paul will be too hard to move. and ego will look for too much money in his extension (rockets will probably only offer a hometown discount to save on raising the tax bill). I'd bet gordon and capela for love happens. then we'd need a center but we probably won't spend the full non tax-payer MLE, even though we can afford it under the tax apron (because Tilman gonna Tilman). so forget about guys like DAJ taking a paycut to come here, he won't take the smaller MLE. The center that best fits our needs and would likely be available for the smaller MLE is Ed Davis. great rebounder, quick on rotations, strong finisher. I consider him a poor man's Tristan Thompson.

I'd also bet we fill out the roster with all vet minimum guys and/or undrafted rookies again. I'd be surprised if we resigned shumpert, rivers, or Faried if they ask for more than that (which they will).

Whole lot of people setting themselves up for disappointment.

It’s gonna be the same 5 as last year. Maybe a SF added and Gordon back to the bench. The small forward won’t be very good, Gordon just to the bench by he will be the only competent non starter to score (along with CP3 on the stagger).
