Like I know harden and Kawhi has like 0 chance of happening . But, can you ever COMPLETELY rule anything out ?

I've already constructed an elaborate series of trades and signings In my head . Dude , our roster would be soooo sick

 

Leonard just has to tell harden on the DL he wants to come here and Morey will shed the salary.

 

Yeah but that's a massive amount of salary to open up for a team near the lux tax lol .

We'd have to move Paul for almost nothing and then move Clint or Eric too . Nene could retire and help us .

With the rumored lakers option .... they really are he only team I could see wanting to absorb Paul into cap space . Maybe a perennial loser just happy to get a star , albeit a (potentially seriously) declining one .

And a lot of things would have to go wrong for CP3 to be the Lakers best option . Hopefully lebron wants CP3 over everybody else and demands that they make the move .

 

Any contract is moveable

 

This has to be done. They need a wake-up call, the franchise needs to wake them up. Too many seasons like this come and go, pretty soon they are all washed up. Trade or not, good idea to put them on alert.

 

For the right price . But we might be too low on assets to afford moving those contracts .

Apparently according to Mark Fisher we have engaged with Mavs involving Clint Capela.

 

So two talented young players on relatively inexpensive contracts (Kuzma is an absolute steal), for an aging, declining star with a massive contract? I can see why Houston does this. Why does LA?

 

The thing about Kawhi is nobody knows anything about that guy.

He’s the one superstar who you never see socializing with any other players in the league..... like at all.

Only thing that I can think of that harden and Kawhi have in common is their both Cali guys. So maybe they have met up to workout in the offseason out west but that’s about the only thing I could think of.

In fantasy land he’s the perfect pairing with harden but we live in rockets world, and it rockets world we don’t get guys like Kawhi.

We got lucky with harden because nobody thought he was good, that luck will never happen again imo.

It's already been proven before. A Harden led team is going nowhere near a championship. You saw last season once CP3 left with injury the Rockets, led by Harden, couldn't win one game.
