Raptors btw are bottom 6 in the NBA in mid range attempts, and the majority of them are taken by elite mid range shooter Kawhi. Just like we do with CP3, except he took a nose dive this season and hesitated to take them in the playoffs.

Celebrate this tremendous win and a great performance from Kawhi. People are still underestimating the Raptors. They have 4 elite defenders. Wish we had 4 elite anything. Great that they have home court too.

 

Oh and Milwaukee is going to be a problem for a long time. This is an actual team with a well managed cap and a retainable core in their prime years. It was their first time in the big leagues and they were more poised than they should be given their experience.

Rockets need to tailor their future plans to Warriors/Bucks/Raptors instead of just focusing on the one team. Beating the Warriors is no longer an automatic ring.

The home team starts to make a run and finish the qtr on a 10-0 run, while you sit there twiddling your thumb with 4 timeouts in your pocket. That run continues for a 17-2 into the 4th and a tied game.

You didnt had good set plays coming out of timeouts and breaks, and eventually lose the game and series. But no need to worry, you will get credits for the two timeouts you left unused.

Translation: He is going to explore his options and see if he can find a place with more talented players to play with.

 

Dont need to disguise anything if I wanted to take a jab at MDA.

I simply have problems with coaches who dont manage games well and/or have well designed set plays.

I believe a well placed timeout could help disrupt opposition runs while good set plays coming out a timeout can also get you a much needed bucket.

These are essential to championship level coaching imo.
