Keller got the start in goal and did a fine job. The goal he let in was tough to stop and more a result of a breakdown of the defense. Reyna did play tonight and was solid on both ends of the field, although his free-kicks were weak. He came off in about the 70th minute for Josh Wolff due to a sprained ankle. As for your other questions, neither Stewart nor Jones was on the squad tonight, but I don't think they have retired from international play and could be seen again. IMO, Hejduk was definitely the weak point of the team today. He was repeatedly exposed by the Dutch and our never-ending problems with the right back position seem to be continuing . . .
i tought Reyna played pretty good. he was better then davids. robben played great, he was the one that scored the goal. your right defender was pretty weak(don't know his name). holland supposed to be one of the best teams in the world. the biggest problem of the dutch team is that they are arrogant. but that were the veterans. the new players aren't like that, atleast we hope (robben, van der vaart, schneyder) we saw how good the dutch can be versus schotland atlast the second match 6-0
It was relatively boring and I am a big Dutch fan. Neither team seemed to play with much enthusiasm. I guess because it was a friendly, they were just taking it easy so no one would get injured. I hope the Dutch finally win Euro 2004.
