An outside shot would skyrocket his value as a player and would make us so much better...but realistically, while i wouldn't say it's an impossible outcome, i wouldn't exactly expect it, let's say... Anybody knows if he's going to play with his national team this summer?
Overall athleticism and conditioning he's only 25 so there should still be some small room there Rebounding technique . Sometimes it's as simple as going up to grab it and wanting it more . But , I definitely noticed that green consistently beat him to inside positioning and used his lower body to box out quickly and effectively . Clint needs to get better at doing that On offense you hope for a short jumper (which he won't take because it's not a 3) So I guess a jump hook and being more comfortable in the roll man spot . Whether that's passing out or creating a go-to move when he gets the ball near the ft line .
Thing young children are taught: free throws. Thing middle schoolers are taught: boxing out on rebounds. Also: shutting his mouth. Also: get him on Harden's training regimen. He's doesn't have the strength or stamina to play his position, especially when a lot of his counterparts are bigger and stronger. Everything else you mentioned would be great, but, from what I've observed, I'd move it all into the "I dunno if he can do it" category.
~He needs to develop a 10 footer like Nene. Have that in his pocket. ~Gain 10 lbs. ~Work on finishing while keeping the ball above his head. ~Strengthen his hands and fingers.
If he could get a jumphook or anything that could allow him to score beyond receiving lobs, it would do wonders for him and the whole offense. If not that, he needs to work on defense because aside from a few highlights he wasn't doing a lot to shut down the paint (although the switching scheme probably doesn't help him too much, either).
Watch tapes of DeAndre Jordon finishing in the paint with slam dunks. None of these pump fakes, yips, and bunny misses.
