What happened OP? I didnt bother watching Portland they can't even win 1 game. What an epic fail you owe Morey an apology. The Rockets failed and had a disappointing year but clearly beating the Warriors isn't that easy as watching another franchise. Maybe if Portland stopped jacking up mid range shots and focus on 3s and layups like the Rox they will win at least 1 game. P.S. in before "You watching the Bucks @rockets Organization?" Thread.
Very true, I love how the media already were giving excuses for Lillard though. They just hate Houston
I mean, Lillard was playing hurt from Game 2 onward. But Harden also had bloodshot eyes from Game 2 onward in the previous round. I think the media dug themselves a hole on this one. They piled on the Rockets after the Game 6 loss because they all assumed(Barkley being the most emphatic about it) that the Warriors were a vastly inferior team sans Durant. And hell, I'll admit that I found that loss to be inexcusable at the time. But the WCF puts that game in a whole new light. And even though the media should walk back their criticisms of Harden and the Rockets, they hate them too much to ever admit they were wrong.
The narrative of this season is and will always be that the Rockets underachieved, and played a style that can't beat the Warriors. It will only focus on the Rockets flaws, and never give kudos to the fact that we are still, to this point, the only team to make the Golden Boys break a sweat. It's not a consolation prize, nor is it an "attaboy"....it's just facts. But the media gives little to no ***** about how they come off. ****bois like Chris Broussard and Ryen Russillo can run their mouths with no consequence. Kornheiser's corny ass can talk about punching Harden in the mouth, and nobody will say a damn thing in our defense. It's the way it is, and we just have to deal with it.
