If he's willing to take less money with our MLE I'd do it, but that doesn't seem likely

 

not too excited about green. hes showing to really regress in these playoffs. now that he's older, not sure he's worth shelling out much for him

 

When cap-strained teams can't sign UFAs, there's always the sign and trade option. However that depends on whether we can give the Raptors some assets they want and Green is willing to commit to it.

I don't think the money is right though. Ideally we'd have Danny Green in the Gerald Green role. Then we're talking.

Ugh... I don't know enough about the hard cap. And I'm not sure I'd give up Gordon for Danny Green anyways. Another curse of a very top-heavy roster is the lack of mid-level pieces to swap.

 

He's been STRUGGLING in the playoffs.

7 for last 31. Most of those threes. 6 for 23.

I could actually see Nurse moving him to the bench.

I'd take him, if the price was right, but wouldn't blow my wad on it.

That's true but even with that there is a hard cap.
