    I think a good record of 48-34 is what the Rockets should finish the season with in respect to the game played.Do you guys think that sounds about right? Here's a run down of my prediction:

    14 Away Games
    15 Home Games

    Feb. (36-23)
    @ Dallas-L
    Atlanta-W
    @San Antonio-W
    Cleveland-W
    Portland-W
    Seattle-W

    Mar. (44-29)
    LA.Lakers-L
    @Minnesota-L
    Dallas-W
    LA.Clipper-W
    New Orleans-W
    Memphis-W
    Phoenix-W
    @Golden State-W
    @Sacramento-L
    @Portland-L
    Toronto-W
    @Memphis-L
    @Milwaukee-W
    Minnesota-L

    Apr. (48-34)
    @LA.Lakers-L
    @Denver-L
    Sacramento-L
    @Golden State-W
    @LA.Clipper-W
    Denver-W
    @Utah-L
    @Seattle-L
    Dallas-W

    BTW, I'm trying to be realistic here by not having them always win against team with a losing record or the other war around.

    Well, I hope we take 2/3 against Dallas and our last one against SA, but I wouldn't count on it.

    50 Wins!

    I think we come away with 19 more wins and we finish the season with 50 wins in 5th place...

    we will suprise alot of teams with our tenacious play for the second half of the season. The problems with our team is mental (not physical) and once we work out those issues we are a monster of a team.

    what are our problems?

    Turnovers - this is a not a physical problem.. it carelesness
    Low FG% - This is getting better as we moving the ball more
    Low Assists - This is also improving every month
    Poise - we lose our composure a lil too easily (we can adjust, I think playoff experience helps with that)

    Its not like we a small team or slow team or even a less talented team. We have all the right pieces to become champions or at least become an elite team if we can oversome some of the issues.

    Our strengths!

    Big Inside presence (Cato, Yao)
    Low post play - (Yao, MoT) when we can get them the ball we have an excellent inside out game
    Quickness - Our guards are probably the quickest backcourt in the league
    Rebounding - close to the top in rebounds
    Defense - Having the top defense in the league should get you into the playoffs. Having a competent and consistent offense should get you a championship (coupled with your top defense)

    So what do you guys say? I think if we maintain our top defense and can actually play a decent offensive game I think we have a shot at 50 wins and to make alot of noise in the playoffs. (maybe even 2nd round)

    J

    I am Arthur, King of the Britons.

    I also predicted 50 wins at the start of the season. If this team can really beat its mental problems, and continue to play the way they have been in the last two games, they could do better. I'll be surprised if they do, but I continue to hope.
