Players prob tuned him out when he asked them to play harder and make their defensive assignments. We know MDA not gonna sack up and say that
Y'all really praising a guy who quit on the team a few weeks before training camp? Then when we started slowly improving he decides to come back? He was a big reason why our defense was so outta order the 1st part of the season

When we resigned him last time it took a little time for the habits to form, but eventually our defense became solid again. We'll see how the pelicans develop over the season, but regardless we have not shown to have a replacement defensive coach who had proven himself like Bzdelik yet. This is an ownership call and we need a strong defensive assistant coach as soon as possible.
