This is now bordering on delusion.

It doesn't matter if Lebron has or not an official No trade clause.
He is the most powerful player in the league.
You think he can be traded to a small market against his will?:D:rolleyes::rolleyes:
In what world are you living?

Why does NO even have a basketball team? They really don't support it.

I think you should read two posts above before posting.

Regardless, I realize it’s not likely even with him technically being able to be traded but was just curious what others thought and it’s the offseason...nothing better to talk about. Would rather debate not probable trades than read the mess in the GARM right now.

They should move the team to Seattle or maybe even Nashville. Nashville has seen some crazy growth and I think could support a team.

It’s a hypothetical trade, 99.9% of the hypotheticals discussed on these boards don’t come true. Instead of wasting your time posting how it’s delusional either don’t post at all or actually discuss basketball and provide your reasoning as to why you wouldn’t or wouldn’t do the deal assuming Lebron would be willing to do it.

If you want delusional, go to the GARM where people want to trade Harden, fire everyone, asking if we can trade Capela and/or CP3 (newsflash they aren’t tradeable), etc.

I would say no if I'm New Orleans

AD + LeBron would have a chance to compete for a title (maybe) for a year or two at most, although I wouldn't be surprised if LeBron has CP3 level slowdown next year.. Then that would be it and you just traded away your future

Keep Zion. Keep Jrue. Keep AD if you can convice him to stay- otherwise trade him for biggest haul of young players and picks possible, and build around that. As long as they don't mess it up (which is no guarantee looking at their moves over the past couple of years) they coukd be legit in just a couple of years

Why would the Pelicans trade a 19-year-old LeBron for a 34-year-old LeBron?

I don't think Zion is a better prospect than AD.

I think New Orleans should do the deal if it means they get to change the name of the franchise back to the Jazz, otherwise, no.

Because they would also be getting the #4 pick or the Lakers first next year in my proposal...

Trading #1 pick for a star on his last 3-4 years

Stupidest **** NO could ever do when you could draft Zion and trade AD for another top 5 pick

Rumors are now coming out that Zion might consider pulling out of the draft (which he can do) to avoid going to NO. So yeah, like it was mentioned earlier in this thread, regardless of whether that happens or not there’s almost no chance he’s staying in NO after his rookie contract is up. He’ll be gone by the time he’s good enough to win them a ship...what’s the point in developing a guy just to see him walk in 4-5 years?

    The difference is LEBRON.
He is not a normal player.
It doens't matter if it would be possible, smart for the Lakers or he doesn't have a no trade clause.
No team would trade for Lebron if he refuses to be traded there. He is not just another player.

Pelicans actually won a game against GSW last year, swept the Blazers.

Dun think they are that bad if they play Defense accordingly.

    They only lack consistent D.

The Lakers trade Lebron to move up three spots in the draft?
