Hear me out on this. Its a gamble, but probably be the only way rockets could get some assest back, and take a risk on Hayward. Now im sure alot of people will say heck no. But think about Celltics side, they might really value Paul as leader for there young crew if Kyrie Leaves, and to stay afloat in the east. Never know what houston could get, possibly Smart, pick.

Nope. I'll take 35 year old CP3 next year than broken down Hayward although he could theoretically bounce back next year from his injury. Doubt it though.

Brad Stevens was stupid for putting Smart out there when Smart wasn't ready for playoffs.

I support the trade for Hayward in exchange for cp3. Hayward is upgrade from losing ariza.

I'm expecting celtics to fire Stevens any day now.

heck no. Hayward signed a shoe deal with Anta. He'll never get calls in playoffs

No. Paul is a much better player than Hayward. The fact that Boston called Houston to offer Hayward says it all. You don't offer players that have value to your organization, generally speaking.

You people are delirious. Chris Paul is untradeable. Repeat after me 40 million dollar 35 year old. Only way we get rid of him is multiple first round picks and offering to pay about 20 million of his salary. Would you pay 40 million a year for Tony Parker last year???

I’d trade Paul for Hayward and Semi Ojeleye

Hayward's contract is one year shorter and costs like 5M less per year, Ainge is not going to get screwed...if Irving bolts (which il likely imo), he'll probably try to resign Rozier for cheap. And it doesn't make sense for us either anyway, i think.

Why stop there why not request Tatum and brown too. Tatum had a bad year and the fans seem to think Paul is about to have a bounce back year

Why not Paul is top 10 pg, and losing Kyrie blows, plus they probably like to rid themselves of Hayward because its a gamble on there part start from day 1 training camp. I like to think Hayward could bounce back, but they know what there getting in paul.

LMAO...dude said Hayward, Smart, and the #14 pick while we hand Boston the worst asset in the deal by far in aging CP0’s albatross contract

How delusional can people be? I guess Ainge is on some strong drugs in this scenario or Morey has some dirt on him and did some heavy blackmail. Get real...

It's a bad trade for both teams, honestly. Unless we're going to re-flip those assets.
