IN netscape I can set the browser to block pop-up ads. I now have to use IE at work and wanted to know if there is a way to set IE to disable pop up windows. Anyone know off hand howto do it because I am too lazy to look it up myself.

Don't think so. You can install the google search toolbar, it has a very good popup blocker.

You can't do it for IE. You would have to download a separate pop-up stopper (i.e. Panicware.com) for annoying pop-ups. They got a free one on that site.

Google toolbar is the best pop-up blocker out there for IE. You can download it Here

sounds like someone just needs to download mozilla... it has tabbed windows and a pop up blocker. But then there's the whole learning curve...

Mozilla or Firefox. I personally don't think there is much of an learning curve. Regardless, with tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking, execellent extensions like mouse gestures and other great features make mozilla and firefox worth it.
