I wouldn’t expect them to trade him. We don’t want to piss him off. In 5-10 years he will be coaching, and all signs point to him being a great coach.
Lakers wouldn’t take cp3. They’d take harden if they don’t get the number 1 pick though. Do we go with rebuild if they get number 2? Not like we winning anyways
If you're trying to beat the Warriors, I honestly don't think coaching is your priority. You need talent. No coaching is magically going to be able to make you play younger and with more talent. And to think, we're just going to be another year older next year with this talent. I'm not liking that, at all.
July 2019: The Rockets get Jimmy Butler in a deal involving Chris Paul. ClutchFans bounces off the walls in ecstasy. May 2020: Chris Paul, the on-court brain of a talented but previously brainless team, leads the Sixers to the NBA finals.
So AD can just leave next summer? If u think AD would ever stay in Houston without Harden then you’re on drugs.
Lol, why would they ever give that up for washed Paul on a HORRIBLE deal? Some of these trade proposals are ridiculous.
Stop kidding yourself. CP3 is not tradeable - we will have him until at least his final year in his contract at which point we'll be able to dump him for a team seeking an expiring contract.
The whole point of Chris Paul is having a midrange threat and so the team isn't complete ass when Harden is on the bench. I wish we could reduce that contract to what he's really worth, but trading him isn't the answer unless you get another great PG back in return like Mike Conley.
Before these playoffs I would have said that you can get someone to take on CP3 and his contract if you include Capela in the deal but after Clint’s disastrous showing in the post season his value is now much lower. I think we are stuck with Chris for the foreseeable future. That means like it or not we are stuck with this team.
With that contract he is. He doesn't produce at the rate his contract suggests. He's the second highest paid in the league!!!!
You are living in a really drug dosed fantasy land. No one will touch a over the hill player making that much
