I can't remember the last time I saw someone with so much heart and hustle...in anything. This man could have been drowning out there and he would still have hustled for the ball. He represents everything I want rockets basketball to be. I hope he knows he is really apprecated by the fans
PJ Tucker is dawg. If only the rest of the team had his hustle/heart. Thank you for a great season. While disappointing the season is over, go get some rest, you deserve it.
He fits right there with Pat Beverley, Chuck Hayes, and Vernon Maxwell for just that never say die attitude. The only Rocket I'm proud of at the moment.
I appreciate him clenching when he had a wide open 3 that coulda made the crowd explode while we were up 7 But nah, he's a dawg. good season for him and he should be proud.

I love Tucker, but this team relies on him for too much. He has to be the best defender, best rebounder, and still be a knock down 3point shooter? He does his best, but it’s not fair, and I don’t think he can consistently fill all 3 roles. He is a good hustle player, but he does not have all-star level talent. It reminds me of the year Chuck Hayes was the starting center. Yes, it’s inspiring, but it works better as a stopgap solution than relying on a limited, undersized player to take such a huge role on a full-time basis.
Pound for pound best player in the series, at times it's like he was single handedly fighting against the Warriors by himself, absolute respect for PJ. Totally agree with this.
Back when he was the PF/C for the Longhorns as a Junior, he had that same fight. Dude was undersized, 6'5" at the most, and he battled and won with the 7 footers of Kansas in the paint, while having minimal outside game whatsoever. He was a ****ing beast in the paint. So the coaches told him he needed to learn and work on a 3 (because that team would have LaMarcus Aldridge on it, and Daniel Gibson and AJ Abrahms)...Then he earned Big XII Player of the Year. Then they lost to Big Baby Davis, Tyrus Thomas and LSU in the Elite 8. And then he vanished overseas...and then he came back with the Suns...and now he's back home in Texas. I can't tell yall how happy and proud I am of this guy.
