ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 5/10/2019 (Playoffs Round 2, Game 6)

I'm just so baffled with this team, as there are just no excuses to be made.

You can tell from the first half there was just 0 sense of urgency on this team. Did not take advantage of the NUMEROUS opportunities given to us. From Boogie being out, KD getting injured, and with both Curry AND Klay playing like trash most of the whole series.

Clint Capela -- ABSOLUTE NO SHOW this series after talking ****. Looked completely lost out there.

Confusing lineups the whole series from MDA. Why were we playing Iman Chumpert over Danuel House?? Where the hell was Faried?? Where was Gerald Green until the last 2 games of the series??

PJ Tucker is the only one who showed any resemblance of heart or hustle on this team. Hats off to him.

One of the worst and most disappointing playoff runs I've ever witnessed as a Rockets fan. Just so many confusing mistakes and blown chances. Blow this team up.

 

Please Tilman and Morey. Do the right thing and get D’Antoni the **** out of town. We need a real coach who has real offensive and defensive systems.

 

I never had high hope on this team knowing it doesn't have all the pieaces...but I'm embarassed that this pathetic team has taken away all the glory from last year. Last year's team was champion team, this year team is not anywhere close. This year we didn't have any Power Forward, Small Forward, Back up Center ..whatever we had MDA didn't play them (Faried).. we just had bunch of guards.

 

Whatever they do next year, they need to recommit to defense. That was the difference between this year and last. Last year's team always lead with their defense first and fed off of that. What I saw this year was the opposite, guys picking up their energy after they made some shots. I believe it's a big part of why they kept coughing up late leads throughout the season. They just couldn't rely on their defense when the shots weren't going in.

 

EG didn’t show up because the system is trash and he rarely gets touches.

CP3 and Harden are dribbling the ball for 20 seconds every possession.

 

Would you take that if you were NOLA? Actually, they might. Whether AD would want to extend here or not, is the big question there.

I'll tell you this though: it just cost a whole lot more to dump Capela now, than it did before this series. Jeez, did House or Capela torpedo their value the most? Discuss.

 

Greatest all time choker's 5 missed free throws have proven he is the king of choking.

 

Not even gonna bother watching rest of the playoffs.... DGAF who wins. Not rooting for or against anyone.

As his fan we need to change this forum's name fro ClutchFans to ChokeFans...yes I am a Choke fan.

 

This game may have unintentionally helped the warriors title chances. The warriors bench got good run and may have shown Kerr something. Instead of going 8 deep, the warriors may have their strength in numbers again!

 

I had a bad feeling at halftime when Red Panda was performing. She is the lady on the tall unicycle that balances bowls on her head. She goes to all the nba arenas and always nails her act. Tonight she got to where she throws 5 bowls onto her head from her leg while riding the unicycle. All of the bowls fell. She tried again and the bowls fell again

 

Hope it keeps you up all night, and do us all a favor and quit your job so the rest would follow

 

My stomach wasn't as empty as it is now. We were champions that lost that series. This one hurts more to me, but maybe I'm just having extreme recency bias
