Harden's and Paul's playoff history is worrisome. Harden has had some truly bizarre games and Paul has at times disappeared. I hope they see this series as a chance to exorcize all their playoff demons. Who really worries me is Capela who has looked utterly lost and totally useless thus far. He HAS TO show up to the party. The bench is erratic and, unfortunately, may be the deciding factor. GS will play like madmen. Donkey will be flying around the court. The Splash Brothers will be firing away. Rockets will have to play the game of their lives, TWICE.
Rockets play down to competition, and Paul/Capela/House have all been trash. Gonna be hard to win with those 2 problems
Yea. They will be firing away. But they ARE the offense. If we are not doubling / trapping Curry all game and covering Thompson then we are idiots. Make Curry WORK so he has no legs to fire away. If we do the same switch switch switch sh*t and CC ends up on Curry and Curry drives for layup after layup and nails three after three then we are muffin heads that deserve to lose. I hope the coaching staff see's that we need to adjust because the warriors certainly are. They sure as hell are not going out without a fight. Like it or not. We are STILL the underdogs. If Harden and Paul want to be thought of as having a pair each they have to will this team to victory 2 times in a row against this limping Warriors line up. If we lose tonight that's it. I don't think Harden would ever be able to lead a time to the promise land. Also just buy the most modern LARK for CP3 to ride around in since his mobility has gone to the sh*tter. BEAT THIS TEAM DAMNIT. I want something to feel good about sports wise.
The absolute worst case scenario is • Rockets lose Game 6 at home • Harden either has (or appears to have - Media via Game 5) an off night and thus *does not take the game* • Thompson & Curry go wild and the Media begins to slurp them. Narratives • Harden choker • CP washed up • Rockets window closed Welcome to summer! Have fun! Soooooooo......Rockets you really need to win Game 6 to not let the above happen. Thanks.
