How bad is it now? My mom was talking about ppl getting their boats ready for rescues, if needed, over the next few days. Y'all stay safe.

Just started pouring here. I heard some girls screaming leaving the wine bar downstairs.

Even I'm not stupid enough to head out in the weather.

Want to drive from Louisiana to the game tonight but now that seems unfeasible.

Flooding came to my front door last night. Didn't even get close in Harvey although we received 48 inches then. Flood lines are right at my house, patio destroyed by winds, pool full of brand new red mulch but no problem getting to work although not one other person is here. Bullshitters. Any excuse. Also no power since 11pm. Enjoyable. Also walking into over waist deep water to retrieve my trash bucket 10 houses down was dope.

    What part of town?

Sounds like my Tuesday night. Crazy that my neighborhood got more water on Tuesday than we did during 4 days of Harvey.

I'm at work too. I would have worked from home today, but my wife and kid's school was cancelled so I wouldn't have gotten anything done at home....

Pretty large hail. Some size of golf ball last night. Few new dents on my car.

With all the wind, my deck ended up getting a bunch of dirt in the cracks and water puddled up on it, and started coming in under my back door. Had to go out with a sawzall to clear the dirt between the boards to let the water flow. Probably out there getting drenched a good 30 minutes or more while the wifey cleaned up with some towels inside.

    Fun night.

South Shore Harbor right on the water. The water line from the lake really freaked me out. Gonna cost a small fortune to rebuild the patio. TV trashed. All 8 speakers trashed, 3 fans trashed. Freaking mess. Saying we may get another 4-6 inches tonight. Tired of cleaning up after these damn storms and my Boxers are so boss. They both hide in the walk in shower on top of each other, shaking. Weak dogs.

Save it Ziggy. I got out of the loop. Sick of the **** streets. Traffic everyday to work, sometimes up to two hours. $20k property tax Bill's can suck it too. I honestly dont miss it one bit after being in the life for 20 years. I'm older. Like the laid back lifestyle here.

I really have to give it up to the planners of The Woodlands. My area looks like nothing but a usual storm. Much as it did during and after Harvey. But teacher wife and kids are home and I work from home. Exactly the reason why we put a large barn door up to close me off so I can appear to be working.
