I'm tired of wasted opportunities. After a while, they all sound like excuses. CP3 when from Worriers kryptonite to nearly unplayable.
I can't bring myself to trust the leadership on this team to bring this team out when their backs are against the wall. Harden, MDA, and the oft-injured and declining Paul have never come close to doing anything like overcoming adversity this time of year to win the big time game. Would love for them to change this but I can't bring myself to have much confidence right now.
Barkley agrees with you. I don't see Steph and Klay sustaining this over the next two games. Less depth, more foul trouble for the warriors. We gotta just grab those rebounds and we got this
CP says we didn't relax, it was just a few big plays and a few offensive rebounds. "We gotta be better, we gotta rebound and let this one go. It's over now, we gotta go back home and take care of Game 6."
What are the odds of 2 NBA players rupturing their Achilles against the same team in back to back seasons...has it ever happened before? WHO'S NEXT??
Im as frustrated as anyone about last night's opportunity wasted. thankfully the opportunity is still there. and its a quick turnaround for game 6 at home. It's crazy, this is pretty much playing out the same way it did last year but in houston's favor. The loss of KD can be weathered for a quarter or so but over the couse of an entire game, it will be too much in the end. the rockets will still win the next two. It sucks they have to go back to oracle but yeah they did that to themselves.
Nuggets or Blazers, absolutely. Raptors, maybe. Bucks......I don't know. But it's all moot if the Rockets don't win the next two.
Gosh just win this series. I dont care if we lose to the Nuggets or Bucks or whomever. Just beat the Warriors when they are stacked. Harden's and Paul's legacy is to be decided over these 3 days. Its now or never.
