    Whoever wins this wins the series. Well, I take that back. This could be like the 2007 first round matchup between us and the Jazz where the home team won every game until Game 7 when Utah's depth and physicality finally wore down the Rockets. The Warriors have the bigger starpower(much like the Rockets had Yao and T-Mac), but the Rockets are tougher and have the superior depth.

    But let's not test that theory. Just go out there and take this one and end it on Friday. Thankfully we'll have Rivers available unlike in Game 1. So take care of the basketball, don't give up too many offensive rebounds, and play hard and smart(i.e. don't look for the foul call), and we can outlast them and steal the game.

    Holy cow, how freakin awesome would it be if the Rockets can get this one, and then close them out in 6 to finish them off in 4 straight....

    With that being said, you know GS is gonna come out firing and they'll probably be really hot to start. Rockets just have to weather the storm and not fall behind by more than 2-3pts to end the 1st. Rockets pretty much owned the 2nd quarter in both home games. If they can do the same on the road and weather the 3rd quarter Durant, they should be in good shape.

    Gotta limit TO's, gotta win the 50-50 balls, gotta win the rebounds battle. Let KD get his, make everyone else work.

    That's the key. The Rockets' defense has been solid, but they've been playing behind in every game except for Game 4 and even in that one, they coughed up their early lead by the end of the first quarter. Game 1, it was poor shooting(and officiating). And Game 2, it was 9 first quarter turnovers. Just don't beat yourselves.

    EDIT: For those keeping tabs, Tony Brothers is officiating tonight in Denver. So odds are good he won't be doing Game 5 in Oakland. Foster isn't assigned tonight, but I have a hard time believing he'd do B2B games at Oracle.

    I would reference "get him a body bag", but Cobra Kai Season 2 retroactively made that quote really sad and bittersweet.

    (If you've watched the show, you know what I'm referring to.)

    Will they have Scott Foster next game to ensure the GS victory?

    Then whoever for game 6, with Tony Brothers and Foster coming on strong for game 7 in GS?

    You have to have the mind set that game 5 on the road is more winnable than a game 7 on the road.
    So go out there Wed and take it. We've played so often in Oakland in regular and postseason the last few years that it's not impossible.

    Get the W. Then come home and finish them.

    Physicality, heart, hustle, intelligence and perseverance.
