The run down block on Kevin Johnson, and the most famous block of all time on Starks after stumbling initially plus the one on Michael Jordan stand out for me the most.
If we advance and win the Western Conference title, play in the Finals in an epic contest with the best team in the East, an epic win for us against the “lesser conference,” and perhaps even if we don’t, thanks to the vast change in information technology (I was an adult when cell phones came on the market, and remember when the cost of a call from a public telephone went up from a dime to a quarter), you could very well be right. It was truly a magnificent block. Easily the best I’ve seen by Capela and even greater given the context. Yet Dream had several awe inspiring blocks among the 3830 (actually more, in my opinion, because some were missed) he’s credited with during his magnificent career. Some have been mentioned by others. My comment wasn’t meant maliciously. It just needed to be said, in my opinion, and would have been said by someone else if I hadn’t seen that part of your post. I was on my feet at home, howling at the display and shaking my fist when he blocked that point blank dunk attempt by a powerful player. If you had simply said, “This block will be still be remembered 30 years from now,” I would have agreed, given you the “like,” which I did regardless because it was deserved, and probably not posted a response. Honestly, I’m not sure why I went to this trouble. It was @sirbaihu who made the initial comment! ;-)
That was crazy the amount of force Clint stopped with that dunk. I mean, Iggy was already going up strong and Clint flashed over in a second and stopped that dunk cold.
