I love Rudy but this is not gonna make me cheer for Bad Daddy Shaq.

Call me sick but I stopped dating my LA GFs for the same reason.

I wouldn't like the idea of Rudy in L.A. because of everything he would have to live up to. I mean, how do you follow up Phil Jackson's tenure? Rudy will be in one of the biggest markets and he will get really stressed out in Hollywood. Look how he aged rapidly in the watered down Houston media, now just imagine L.A.

Fran should get his facts straight. Rudy did not take "a year off to battle cancer." The cancer was already in remission when he resigned.

I wish Rudy T the best. If it worked out for him in LA, then good for him. It's not like it would be the Jazz or something...

I think that for the past three seasons Les Alexander has been doing a "Weekend at Bernie's" routine with Carroll Dawson. So yeah, Rudy for Rockets GM would work well.

And why would YM want to play for the coach who made no attempt to reel SF and CM in, even when they shut him out of the offense, which possibly cost him ROY?

Actually it wasn't already in remission when he resigend. I actually saw Carroll Dawson in California at the summer league after Rudy was out as coach.

The only question I asked Dawson was how Rudy was doing. He said he's feeling well but that he wasn't in remission yet. I even made a thread about it at the time it happened.

I would love to see Rudy continue coaching. I would not like to see him coaching the Fakers....ugh I can't bare it.

do you just hate rudy?? Do you know what he has done for houston?? Becasue he couldnt crush your most hated player, does that mean hes a bad coach? I would love to have rudy back doing something in the front office.
