Orlando signed a minor-league contract with Pittsburgh Pirates, the team he started his career with. Good pinch hitter and maybe starter for them.

Yeah, Merced had some good times in H-Town... enjoyed watching him play, he made one of the best catches in MMP's short history out in left field... probablly only overshadowed by Berkman's famous Tal's Hill over-the-shoulder basket catch.
