Just curious, how many of yall felt like smashing the TV/Tablet/Phone when Jereko flew around got 6 points of tip ins!

I would make CC write 100 times "I will not let Jereko or any scrub Warriors do that again" if I could

Some truth to this ... This "I just let them play, because they are that good" thing probably doesn't work well in the playoff.

I disagree... almost completely. The Rockets have been in both of these games, despite playing like crap, because they've limited Steph, and even Klay to an extent. You do NOT want to see what happens when either one of those goes off for a half. We've seen it plenty of times before.

This isn't the Rockets-Mavs, where the Rockets literally only had two guys and the rest of the team was awful. You can let them get theirs then. You can't let 3 historically amazingly efficient scorers get theirs, and you certainly can't when option 4 is also efficient Iggy and Draymond who can create. To be fair though, everyone tries to defend Draymond by letting him score.

Also, your message can't just be cut the TOs and grab boards and we'll be fine. Because the Rockets aren't good enough. They have difficulty putting in "perfect" games... as they should, they don't have the perfect roster. So they may very well go out and cut turnovers, rebound better, but shoot 32% from three instead of 42% while Steph and Klay heat up. STILL a loss.

Indeed, they need to cut turnovers and rebound better. I think they're defense is fine. I wouldn't change it. Giving up all those TOs and ORebs, and it's not like GSW scored 130+. They also need to strategize around (i) rotations, and (ii) how to run cleaner PnRs. GSW know exactly what the Rockets are trying to do, isolating Steph. So they have Steph switch off before his guy goes to set the pick. Or they have Steph and Harden's guy do a fake brief double. Or they strongly push Harden back. The end result is you don't get Harden switched to Steph that often. But there are counters to this. Rotations is all on MDA to fix, and some of the bench players to step up.

If that's the case, what are going on and on about, lol.
First you say that stats means nothing. I supposedly took it out of context.
Then, I call your bluff, now all of a sudden...
"obviously if the warriors are shooting considerably worse with that stat you posted, than in a close game of course we win".

Aight man, im cool. Just enjoy the upcoming win.

X and O's aside, to me, I can live with their Big threes beating us.

I like it. Gordon is A 6th man... much like Lou Williams... he needs to comeback off the bench shooting.... a lot. House needs to take 3-5 threes per game and scrap around the basket.

If I'm the Rockets, I'd be really worried about Iggy, the guy has been playing like his old self, a 20+pt all-star, and provided great D on the other end. Apparently, all those DNP games really saved his legs, he looked quicker& more athletic than any of the Rockets other there.

Shump is 1000 time better. That's how bad Melo was.

Those two months were freaking nightmares

Tmac said the efficiency of caplea is very low in game 1 and 2. It is minus 31. put him on the bench can solve the problem.

I suggest to start Faried at 4 or 5

What I am saying is you need both they are tied to the hip. A possession starts with a defensive rebound and ends with a defensive rebound. If you noticed the warriors had 91 possessions and we had 77 . We got outrebounded by 5 overall and by 8 on the (18)offensive boards. Meaning we played great on the ball defense but it was negated because we gave them 8 more possessions of ball than we earned(10) from them and we lose by Six. All I am saying is in agreement with you that we need to play our brand of defense but in addition we need to finish the job with a rebound

Obviously, we should do both. But with Faried, you will not get both. So we have to choose. If you have to choose, you choose defense. The closest we have to having both is when Clint Capela is playing well. He's not playing well. Clint Capela might start playing well. Faried will not become a good defender.

MDA needs to make some changes. Otherwise, try to bench MDA and start the defensive coach

Doesn’t matter how well you play defense, if opponents keep getting rebounds, more shots are available to them and defense is compromised on the possession, leading to more quality shots. This gets worse in a switching system even moreso with smaller players.

Defense and rebounding are not necessity physical talents, it’s more about effort, concentration, and awareness.
