This to me is the most disappointing thing about last night's loss.

We already know going in that we're fighting s uphill battle talent wise trying to beat the Warriors.

There is absolutely no way you beat a team like that when you allow them to out (hustle) work you.

Their effort on defense was outstanding. They fought for every loose ball. They battled for offensive rebounds.

Which team hasn't won a championship in 25yrs again?

    Disappointing to say the least.

sometimes a team starting 3 guards just isn’t capable of winning the rebounding battle on a particular night...we were 28th in defensive rebound percentage and overall rebound rate for a reason

True, but look at the game, warriors gang rebounded all game on both sides of the ball. We did not, this is the part of the year where numbers go to the passengers seat and human hear takes over.

You have to want it more, and thats willing to do what it takes.

I see this series requiring everybody to do more; James, for example has to accept ISO plays to GSW strengths. They have issues when moving side to side and we did it last night when Harden was out.

He says he cant even see and was not willing to sacrifice his ball handling obsesion.

That is the stuff we are talking about, about wanting it more and doing whatever it takes

Yeah - the lineup we start, and the even smaller lineup we often play is both old and short. Tough to defend in the post and/or rebound (even though they held their own rebounding last night with great effort).

    C: Capela, 24, 6'10
    PF: Tucker, 33, 6'6
    SF: Harden 29, 6'5
    SG: Gordon 30, 6'4
    PG: Paul 33, 6'0

D'Antoni's "Small Ball": out comes Capela...and insert House, Rivers or Shump....go older and shorter. Tucker becomes a AA high school size center.
Meanwhile small ball for the Warriors still means a 7' Durant, 6'8 Green, 6'7 Thompson, and 6'6 Igouadala...younger, taller, and more talented.
