The key with Foster is just don't say anything to him because, as soon as you get in his ear with gripey whining, that's when he flips out mentally and just takes you for a ride. Be nice to him...and ye shall be rewarded!
See what they'll do is have Foster give us calls for one game so they can make everything seem well and good..."Well how could it possibly be rigged if your arch nemesis Scott Foster is helping you out??"...Then it's right back to cheating us, more subtly now of course.
I think for sure there are consequences for Morey here. This will hurt him in some way. But he knows the score. This is a title team. The window is closing. They CAN beat the Warriors, even if it's unlikely. But they CAN'T beat the Warriors if they aren't getting an even whistle. So Morey put his last card on the table, consequences be damned.
Good news is we are actually down in the series. When Scott Foster refs our games usually its a close out game for us and the league wants him to extend the series. This is one of the few times we are actually down, so we may have a chance. Plus NBA likes to send him in to dispute narratives and with all the negativity around officials, he may just decide to call everything for us. But he is such a wild card I can also see us getting blown out.
Have you never seen Draymond's antics after every other play? While I agree with you in most scenarios - with GSW, the argument doesn't hold true.
Do you know who the referee assignment is for game 3 of the Rockets series? What about game 4? Game 5-7? Do you believe that Scott Foster will be the head official for game 7 if the series goes that far?
What I am saying is that the league has a way of weeding out people they do not like. The league pushed to get Sam H replaced in Philly.... and it isn't a coincidence he was replaced with someone that the league really approved of (Colangelo). It also isn't coincidence that the resignation letter of Sam H was made public and that certain members of the media ridiculed him. It is a really really bad idea to cross the league office....... I used to think it was just David Stern, but it is the league as a whole. If you do what the league wants, you will stick around forever.... Colangelo, Stu Jackson, Kiki VanDeWeghe and others. They have had numerous jobs around the league and in the front office because they do what they are told to do. How many front office job offers has Sam H received since leaving Philly? How many teams has JVG coached since leaving the Rockets? So what Morey is doing is very dangerous to his career. My guess is he has just determined that it is worth the massive risk.
Hopefully he's got some assurances from TF that his job is secure, and I guess it's good that his skillsets allow him to do things outside of working for the league.
Allright so after 1st quarter we will know how whistle goes. If it goes as G1 I wanna se Joey Dorsey type of scrub that I aint even know exist on our roster to go after every shot this mother****ers take
This controversy could backfire and have the Warriors amped up more focused. I mean...the narrative is you only won because you got calls (or non-calls). If I'm on that team, then I'm out to prove we can beat you definitively. But, on the flip side, that intensity could also have a negative affect in how I perform on the court as wanting and doing can veer in different directions. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out tonight but the excitement meter is off the charts for me. I'm shaking.
I agree. We'll see if it worked -- but I guess this is probably his last hurrah at trying to beat GS so I can't blame him for putting all his cards on the table.
How’d that work out for Colangelo? Morey is a skilled man that could succeed in dozens of fields. Kiki and the Colangelos are hacks.
Player would go to jail probably and be suspended a long time. Just make it someone at the end of the bench if it's a Rocket landing it.
