Does he even coach? Luke Walton probably did a better job than Kerr who spends his entire life free riding for rings.
Curry's showboating in endearing and cute and did you know he even has a family that comes to all of his games? What a great guy
Praying hard that KD leaves for New York or somewhere else (and if possible Klay leaves too). This Warriors dynasty needs to stop. It's getting disgusting to watch. They get praised being arrogant, cocky and playing dirty. Once KD leaves and Warriors turn mediocre, Kerr would finally be exposed as an average head coach (he really thinks that he is great like Phil or Gregg smh). and Draymond's dirty antics will not be ignored.
Kerr acts like he's some coaching genius but the Warriors have struggled in the playoffs (many close series) despite having way more talent than any other team. Overrated, annoying coach.
To be fair never heard Ppl say Kerr was a great coach. More like a decent coach coaching a historic team. He acts like this because he once was the clown or jester on the Bulls and Spurs teams.
Cur basically took MDA offense he got while he was at Phoenix and put it in place in GS. Had the luck of Jerry West to assemble an amazing team and basically all he had to do was given great post-game interviews. Heck, Cur was gone for a chunk of the year and freakin Luke Walton had an even better record. Just goes to show, Cur ain't Phil Jackson
Kerrs strength is he has been around three of the most innovative coaches in he last 25 years. Mike D'antoni, Phil Jackson, and Gregg Popovich. He knows the blueprint of winning from Pop and Phil and then he has D'antoni s style that allows a careful molding of today's talent with what will work in the modern game. Oh and also he has benefited from the Super Wisdom of Jerry West to construct that team correctly. So he is confident. MDA wants to beat Kerr so badly because he worked for him and Steve fired him no matter how the Suns tried to spin it they fired him. The way the Rockets incorporated Bzdelik was the approach that allowed the relationship to work so well in Houston. Bzdelik is beloved by MDA and respected thus our success.
Can’t get sensitive about these things.. waste of energy.. we just need to show them up on the court then we can talk.
I'm sorry but what is MDA offense? Spam a dribble for 20 seconds and then heave a 3? We can hate Kerr all we want but they have a legitmate offensive system. I would absolutely love to have the offensive system the Warriors run.
Yep, but Kerr is not on the level of those coaches IMO. The Warriors offense struggles too much in the playoffs for their talent level. Getting by the Clippers only 4-2 was not impressive.
Cmon man . It's pretty easy to design a system when you have 3 of the best shooters of all time ... AND get away with moving screens . Another team playing GS' "style " would get blown out by 20 because they would never make half the shots the GS players make .... and it's that threat that opens up so much
Really? Out of the Rockets and Warriors, which team takes more contested higher degree of difficulty shots? The ball constantly moves with the Warriors. Analyze how many dribbles the Warriors average per game compared to the Rockets. If refs aren't calling moving screens, maybe take advantage of that. Also, it makes sense to take advantage of off ball movement when the league has explicitly made a new rule for freedom of movement without the ball. These are common sense things that people on this message board wig out on because Harden is the antithesis of that style of play and posters here feel an irrational need to defend it.
GS runs MDA's system from Phoenix. Cur didn't invent that. MDA runs a lot of that with the Rockets too, it's just that he also has the greatest ISO player in the league as well. If you look at the way Paul plays when Harden is on the bench, it's similar to Steve Nash's offense play. Both Cur and MDA put the ball in their best player's hands and lets them create. If Cur had the Rockets, and MDA the Warriors, you wouldn't see that much change.
