the lack of scoring can be attributed from the lack of plays given to him by harden and cp3. but the lack of rebounds, all on him. we cant be constantly be beaten on the rebounding department. atleast make it close clint. he could still improve.

People around here are always waiting for a guy to have a bad game so they can pile on. Sometimes it's not even the players fault. The Warriors clearly game planned to shut down Capela and the dunks, and to allow three pointers. Unfortunately, our three point shooters couldn't even shoot 30%.

Let's hope that MDA can figure out how to get our players to make a shot in game two of the series.

Honestly, yes. But it's a good ceiling already. I like Capela. He gives you the max of what you can get out of a lean, floor-running, non-post-playing center. I don't see what he can do to evolve except for developing some kind of touch on layups so he can score from 3 feet instead of 1.

Not sure, but going for 4 points and -17 (in +/-) in 26 minutes is not going to cut it for the salary he commands.

I’m on record of saying I want more “Wing” help over a big center. You have heard me say it: Rockets played Capela
about 27 minutes in last years series from game 1-6. Game 7 brought Caps up to about 29 minutes.

I give Capela a break for coming off an illness recently......but get more points/rebounds. Prove me wrong.
I’m not a believer Big centers are more important than Wings in beating the Warriors in a playoff series.
But next year the Warriors will break apart......so it’s not that important moving forward.

I just want him to win 1 jump ball this year lol.
Never in the history of the sport have I ever seen a guy lose 98% of jump balls .

He did win a jump ball last game. He tipped it to Harden.

I think this is the Clint Capela we'll see for the rest of his career. Maybe stronger...but he doesn't really seem to be able to improve any of his skills. He certainly won't be shooting 3s...but a lot isn't really expected of him...so that maybe a factor.

Before his wrist injury midseason I remember he could play 36 minutes, put up 20-10, and play stellar defense consistently each game. He had the stamina but he kind of lose it after the injury. Some games he looked great and some he just shrinks. His stamina and endurance took another hit when he got the viruses recently.
