I don'y either and that's the sad part. in fact I expect more warrior bias. the NBA wants its dynasty. they chose the warriors because they are the product the NBA wants all teams to replicate. ball movement, player movement, unselfish play, role model superstar, etc, etc.. they don't want the rockets to win the championship and every team start playing one on one and trying to shoot a lot of FT's. ESPN would not pay for that! they can't sell harden as the face of the league when he's out at strip clubs. they want to show curry and his family at the game.
We need to play our game. The Warriors are getting help because they would lose bigtime. We are going to get these chumps we just need to keep the pressure on them
Cp3 sucker punched rondo early in the season. Later James Ennis took lonzo ball out for the season after a leg whipping. Rockets better watch out because refs have our number after rockets short changed the lakers with suspensions and injuries.
Even with all BS calls it was the lack of scoring from two starters: Capela and Tucker 4 pts. between them will not get it done. I too believe game 2 is a must W, lose game 2 the Warriors will have almost 4 days rest till game 3 Saturday in H-Town.
After game 1 I wasn't depressed or anything. I thought, well, all we have to do is steal game 2 and we're back in this. Then I remembered I'm a Rockets fan. We're not going to win game 2. This series is over in 5.
We need to get Harden driving to the rim with multiple screens off the ball with Capela for the lob. Warriors have been playing well against both Harden driving to the rim at the perimeter and multiple defenders at the paint but also Green defending Capela for the lob and rebound. Capela has to be a lot more aggressive at the rim including boxing out and not fumbling the ball. We need to leave Green, Igudola, Livingston open at the 3 but also box them out if they come in to rebound. Harden has to shoot well at all areas of the court including the floater. It seems like a mental block from Jazz series, not being able to be effiecient at the floater unlike throughout the season. If the offense stagnates because the opponent is taking away the 3 and rim, look for the mid range to get going. Gordon and CP3 need to be aggressive in getting to the paint or being open for the shot. Green, House, Rivers (need him badly), and Faried have got to step up. Although, Nene played well...but at his age and body, he can’t guard the perimeter and be in the game for more than about 10-15 minutes. Overall we played well defensively..just need to control the bleeding more and communicate on rotations and switching.
Damn I thought it was only Foster and Brothers, but now it's the entire officiating crew from last night. At this rate, the NBA is going to run out of refs to officiate Rockets games. :O
Man. I really feel for Harden. Dude does not want this season go to waste. It’s so hard to not get burnt out in this league. People who are saying we had plenty of chances to win this game are idiots. It’s quite unlikely to blow the warriors out in their arena. We were within 4 points in a game where we should have been rewarded at least 10 more free throws, and have one of their best players in Klay in foul trouble early. If we lose Game 2 it’ll be hard for me to keep watching the series.
Switching is not good for Capela. Capela stays with Draymond and don't switch, other players switch. Draymond and Iggy are not going to have 13-16 field goal.
