Bran knew what was going to happen right? So, why wouldn't he just tell everyone in advance and maybe Theon could have an alternate plan than what he did. It's probably too much talking to explain it all to everyone. So, just be quiet. lol
They should of had the night king talk to bran. Would of been interesting to finally hear him explain himself
Agree entirely. The Night King was basically the entire undertone of the story. It guided how we thought about the politics of the Iron Throne. The fact that he died in such a fashion cheapens the entire story.
That was intense as ****. A night after watching endgame. What a weekend for Tv/cinema. Once Arya killed the dude I immediately thought there’s going to be some complaining. I’m torn on whether I’m satisfied with the abruptness of the ending of the Night King but I’m not sure what else you do with the story. It was an amazing episode though and there’s still 3 more of these things. Wild.
Well the story could have easily been war between men THEN war with the dead. Instead, the writers chose to go the opposite. This essentially makes the coming conflict with Cersei the climax, which I can’t see being dramatically satisfying. This is after all, a Song of Ice and Fire.
A Song of Ice and Fire is supposed to refer to Jon and Dany though I think (or maybe just Jon since he’s both).
Pretty disappointed at this episode. Didnt need to be and hour and a half with all those meddling scenes of Arya running around and such.
Was the dragon Snow was riding lost? Which dragon was that at the end...Dany's...cause it was getting attacked one hundred ways to Sunday and seemed doomed?
Maybe. Or it’s Night King versus dragon fire. If it’s all about Dany and Jon then the NK was basically pointless.
I think the writers dont care and just want to wrap it up as soon as possible while giving out as much fan service as possible. I’m hoping GRRM can finish the real story.
I think both the Dragons survived. I think the Dragon at the end was Dany's Dragon.. This whole damn episode was way too damn dark.
The red woman completed her duty to the lord of light. She didn’t commit suicide she was finally free to pass on.
