The Rockets are doing their best to go up against an all-time great team despite having less talent and the refs against them. For all my criticisms, nit-picks, and frustration, I will support this team to the end. And oh, the series is far from over. Did you see Harden clapping as he left the game? Rivers will be back. Capela will be better. We will make some more shots. The defense will be even more suffocating. Believe in them, that's the most we can do as fans.
Well atleast we dont have to see Ryan Anderson from the bench looking un interested. One more player will have to join Houston on a discount, Jimmy Butler seems like a good choice, and he would be the missing piece, as a defensive/offensive player who can defend. One last chance if they keep this team, that or blow it up. What i say.
From the profitability standpoint Tilman probably prays for the Rockets to lose so he can avoid giving additional bonus to Capela?
Seriously, Gordon was big today. Also, the defense on KD was good too. Although he still got his, but took him 43 min in the game to get the 35 points. We ran a body onto him every time he caught the ball, which I think is the way to defend him. The only time he did well against us was him catching at the key and drove towards the rim. We need to clean that up hopefully next game. Also I thought we defended Steph pretty OK. He was a bit reduced due to foul troubles, but we were really effective face guarding him to deny his threes and run through the screens. Also, we were decent to switch Curry onto Harden and got him into foul troubles. Let's keep these up. Doable series.
