    Well, when those 3-4 (or actually 5-6) are 3 point attempts it makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
    That means at least 9 FT's were not awarded.
    Do you think we might have won if James and CP were given 9 chances at the line?
    GAME, SET, MATCH. . . .

    Someone repost the Durant out of bounds missed call a few games back. It’s an indicator of how terrible this game is.

    Which makes him the X-factor on offense imo. When he's shooting well, the Rockets are in good shape. We need at least some production from him because he's the open guy in the corner Harden is passing to for an open 3.

    two things can be true at the same time:

    1. the refs were horrendous in this game, and seemed like they weren't even aware of the landing space rule. the last one was debatable tho, but still there were like four other missed calls which could've easily tipped the scale in Rockets favor

    2. Harden didn't play well overall, probably not as bad as the shooting stats show, but the narrative won't be too kind to him next morning. maybe some people will give him a pass this time, but if Harden doesn't show up in game 2, it will be really difficult to defend him as a big time playoffs performer

    This is also a big problem, the refs need to be consistent, even in this game, i still don't understand how the freedom of movement works, they called a foul on Shumpert in the first half for literally touching Durant's back/shoulder before he was even getting the ball, and there are a ton of bigger grabs/pushes during a game that are not getting called, that's ugly, you have a guy like Draymond playing football offball and that's ok, you caress Durant and that's a foul.

    Yes, Harden got fouled by Thompson multiple times while shooting; HOWEVER, 9 for 28 are not MVP numbers. Harden has been bricking shots since early in the first round. Unacceptable. The "greats" elevated their games in the playoffs. Capela and Tucker can't be offensive no shows and the team win. Did Capela even get a rebound?
