I think it was never funny. I thought it was really sad because it shows how no one has a clue how the rulebook works.

Does James travel sometimes (i.e double stepback) ? Yea sure.

But Giannis takes 7 steps before dunking, so does lebron. Why is that any better? I will never understand the casual fans.

Agree %100. If people pays great attention to feet movement, lebron Kawhi and giannis travels the most.

Don't have a problem with the shade on Harden. I do have a problem with them trying to capture some of Harden's reflected glory with a really cheap promotion. He might get called for travel once or twice in the whole playoffs. When he does, I'm supposed to petition for an undefined chance to get a free room? They give away a $200 room and get 8 million impressions?

Well tbh, a lot of people think he travels. Idiots, but they do. This is just an easy way to drive activity in their direction.

Even if that were the case though, I'm still boycotting Hotels.com.

As someone who works in marketing, it's rare to see a brand go after an individual as part of a promotion. One of the reasons I posted this was to see if the brand would react to pissing off the fanbase. Imagine if everyone on here posted on twitter at mentioning hotels.com with #boycottHotels.com

It wouldn't have much impact, but it would give their marketing team a stomach ache.

    Use Booking.com/Priceline instead.

Expedia owns, Hotels.com, Hotwire, Travelocity, Trivago, Homeaway etc

i dont believe any biased is attached here... he's the MVP and Bron is out - so he's the high profile guy... they company is about travel - hence the 'traveling' tie in...

If they used Curry or whoever folks would be crying because our guy wasnt getting the visibility or whatever... lol

Which means they are not going to call beard for travelling lol.
If they do it would be a net loss/disaster for hotels.com
    I like it.

If "Captain Obvious" says one MF'ing thing related to James Harden traveling, I'm going to bust him down to Private Parts-Mutiliation.

I think people should have fun back with them. Like "Hey Hotels.com - why don't you give out a free room every time you...."

Problem solved. Rename the term Travel as movement error.

    Travel companies won't use it.
