MDA chooses the weirdest bench players to give extended minutes to.

House is obviously a rookie in intense environments. Faried gets zero burn for the slightest mistake while capela struggles (if he's in fact sick, why not try faried?). Harden mentally slow for some reason in the clutch when cp was pushing the momentum back our way. gordon shot well in the 3rd and then resorted to desperation shots with house in the 4th.

On another note, EG and cp3 really defended mitchell well. harden wasnt terrible either. Looked like Rivers was the one getting burned the most by mitchell tonight, along with capela on switches.

 

Harden's floater was MONEY all year long. It's like hes scared to use it in this series for some odd reason. Playoff Harden better wake the F up already!!!

Wed is a do or die game for the Rockets from a mental standpoint. They can not afford to lose or the prospect of winning the series will become that much more taxing and challenging.

Utah played with a lot of pride tonight..credit due. Rockets had their chances but just couldn’t get it done. Make no mistake the pressure is on the Rockets to finish this at home. We all know nothing is guaranteed...especially with the Rockets.

Rockets made it harder on themselves and once again squandered a golden opportunity. Win or shut up now.....no excuses.

-Bench needs to produce.
-Hit shots.
-Need to take defense seriously

Looked like the Rockets were hoping to coast to victory tonight. Lot of lazy defensive rotations.

 

Blame is really based on our inability to manufacture some high percentage shots late in the game and the fact that they kept on losing shooters with just some lazy floating on defense.

It’s the playoffs. You can’t half ass defense like that and win. You also need more than chucking 3’s with hands in your face. You need to suck the defense in to get those open 3’s. Capela has been just beaten down this series and it’s hurting big time.

W/out Capela production we are at a disadvantage.

Harden had his moments but needs to be better

If those three don’t all perform simultaneously this team will struggle.

 

The way y’all overreact is pathetic LMAOO. Did y’all really expect us to sweep the Jazz before the series started? We were up 3-0 with nothing to lose in Utah. I was expecting to lose this game and was honestly surprised we kept it close most of the game with Utah playing their hearts out.

 

yeah 5 points.... from one player, just awful, better to get this out of the way now.

 

nene and shumpert should have gotten a little burn tonight because the other reserves were already back in Houston.

 

who cares the league wont let us beat the warriors( playoff tv ratings are down). I just wanna see how they screw us this time. Then maybe we can get tillman to get rid of the nba in houston and bring in the nhl

 

He has some major flaws as a scorer. He needs to add a pull up jumper desperately.

 

Was Faried actually injured or did Dantoni forget he exists?

 

All things considered we could've been easily 2-2 at this point...

 

For all of you who say Capela is better than my eyes says he is, better hope he gets his soft hands together before the next series....or Bogut (YES, Bogut) will abuse him.
