Rox took 7 fts vs Bucks 13. If the refs were so biased they werent calling any fouls on the Bucks how come Bucks only took 5 more fts?

All this is just an excuse the refs didnt cause the Rox to brick all their shots.

I'm starting to think the problem is practice. Rox notoriously dont practice to preserve their legs for games but that may be the reason these guys always get run out of the building or end up with no gas, they lack conditioning cuz they dont practice. Thats why there are no plays and they are 1 trick ponies, they dont practice and create new plays.

The refs didn't cause us to lose that game, and I also don't like pointing fingers at the refs all the time. Especially, since that's just how it's going to be, so you gotta play through it.

However, they also called an unnaturally low number of fouls. Against both teams, mind you, but it didn't feel right at all. Last night:

    Bucks:
    Total personal fouls: 11
    Total free throws attempted: 13

    Rockets:
    Total personal fouls: 15
    Total free throws attempted: 7

That's way below "just weren't calling many fouls."

And let's not forget where Giannis murdered House after a rebound right in front of the refs, and nothing happened.

Now, personally, I'd say that not calling many fouls on either team hurts the Rockets most, and anybody and everybody knows that. There is some plausible deniability to that approach, but it's not fooling anyone. But even taking bias out of the equation, a game that physical with that few foul calls is insane, and if the officials don't have a fix in, then they're just bloody incompetent.

So, yeah, smelled pretty fishy out there. Not the main reason the Rockets lost.

Those damn refs call the entirely different in the playoffs than the regular season. All the players want is them to be consistent. That’s why Harden always have a tougher time in the playoffs, because those MF won’t blow the damn whistle that the do in the regular season.

Yep, better learn to grow independent on those things you can't control.

We shot 52 3-balls and they shot 34. Free throw disparity esme that great and reflective of their driving and shooting.

Brah, nothing new. Just look at the NBA as entertainment. Like Wrestling.

When refs not looking, gonna have someone run in and do his power move. Game over.

are you saying harden was not clearly fouled on the shots i mentioned? what about the fast break drive to the left of the paint in the 3rd Q when he was literally mowed down w/ no call?

bear in mind, i am not saying MIL didn't necessarily deserve to win or that we didn't deserve to lose (we had a ton of brainless TO's and bricked 15 wide open shots, among many other issues). but to have our lowest FT total in several seasons in one of the biggest games of the season w/ goble and fraher in the house, come on it cannot be more obvious. there was no f'n way silver was going to allow harden to go HAM in that game. this league is RIGGED and there is no way around that reality.

Max Kellerman doesn't call out the referees, he always says "Harden must hit his 3s to win games in the playoffs"
because referees will cost the Rockets losses if the game is close.

The team has belòw average shooters, Eric Gordon, Danuel House, P.J Tucker, Clint Capela, Kenneth Faried, Chris Paul all need to step up and play at at near All Star level, in shooting and defense, because can't go off every night, because Harden will get double teamed.

For this season, fouls on drives are called 7.7% of the time for the rockets. Tonight only 1.7% . That's a whopping 78% variance

Even the Jazz for the season is called 5.5% fouls on drives.

So it is pretty obvious the refs swallowed their whistles last night on drives.

Compare to all the other years, Harden got 2 huge calls that would have never been called in the past.
