I think his body language has more to do with him missing every single shot than no foul calls. Dude shot 8 free throws total in the first two games. His body language seemed perfectly fine then.
Three different players blocked him in the same game. 0 for 15 but the dunk was kinda epic, Chris Paul might not have dunked all season : /
This is expected. Refs swallow their whistles it are just plain awful. Can't expect James to carry all series. Accept that his off nights are bad while it wrecks up the other teams gameplan That's why we brought in Chris. We won and that's that
I agree... if he wants to win it all... he needs to let it go. I am proud that he played d. Got a few steals. He definitely impacted the win more than just scoring. I hope everyone steps up again when we face the warriors.
Thank goodness the refs are calling fouls where Gobert is basically throwing his body into Harden on the floater. I can see that being a situation where the league can screw us.
How does harden have shoe deal kahwi Leonard not have one? :/ Popovich messed over players shoe deal opportunity
He actually did get mugged on that foul they reviewed to see if it was flagrant. That was scary stuff. Scary stuff happens to Harden a lot, but since he's by far the most durable player in the league, he can often shake it off. The League is really playing with fire by letting this stuff slide by, though. Whether it's the "just let em play" officiating that we've already seen multiple times, notably in the Bucks game, or letting fouls like that be common fouls, someone's going to get very hurt eventually.
Gotta love the similar thread at the bottom of the page about Corey Maggette calling Yao ugly from 15 years ago.
This is how it's going to be in the playoffs every game against the Warriors, so better to get used to it now.
There is just no consistency with how they call flagrant fouls. Makes no sense anymore. While I don’t think the initial foul on that play was a flagrant, O’Neal ends up tackling him then landing on top of him driving him into the ground. If that’s not excessive contact what is? As long as you try to hold a guy up you can slam him to the ground? What Embiid did earlier was called a flagrant and he even made a play on the ball. Hard to not think their is a bias against Harden on that play alone. What other star would they even let that happen to?
