We have better chemistry. We are fully healthy. We have a better and deeper bench. And we nearly eliminated last year and won 3-1 the season series this year. And yet you are 100% that we can not win. That is irrational. Nothing in sports is 100%. It's not even 100% we will beat the Jazz. If you can get up 3-2 on the warriors, you can beat them. It may not be likely, but it certainly wouldn't be a shocker if the Rockets won...to anyone on the board or the world except for one person apparently - you.
Last response to you today. I made clear yesterday that Cuz wasn't included. I made it clear that without Cuz they are still better than us completely healthy. So, nope. Wrong again. No hedge on Cuz.
We do not have better chemistry. And we do not have a better and deeper bench. And we are not as good as last year's team. Our record proves it. Irrationality is ignoring the full season's record. I've gotta get back to work. Peace. Out. May SweetLou put up another 50 spot.
Regular season records prove we aren't as good as last year in the same way they prove the Nuggets and Blazers are better than us this year, which they are not. The Rockets are also 3-1 against the Warriors in the regular season so what does that prove? I think it proves your logic is severely flawed.
-)First of all, as others stated the Rockets have an insane ORTG/DRTG since the Allstar break. That is a fact. If they keep that up, it will at least be interesting in the GSW matchup. Harden did score a phenomenal buzzer beater at Oracle's. Why can't he repeat that? Of course GSW has a good chance of beating us too. They are the champs and have HCA. The refs have a good chance of beating us as well. -) The Rockets surge have a lot to do with the signings of Austin, Faried and House. They fit in really well. Shumpert isn't as good but that is enough. Coupled with Gerald Green who can always get hot and get 8-14 pts in the hurry. I think that is really deep. I think majority of CFers agree here. -) The Bucks are an exciting and interesting team this year, well coached at that. That is why I brought them up. No need to overthink that.
You can't just put in an Asian American and expect it to be Shaolin or Zen. Can't be workin like that.
Chemistry... who knows you could be right even though I don’t agree. But deeper bench and more depth? That’s not even debatable. Going into the warriors series last year we had Cp3, Harden, Ariza, Tucker, Clint, Gordon, Green, nene. That’s it Luc didn’t play he was hurt. This year we have all those same guys minus Ariza but added house, Rivers, faried, shumpart. We’re a lot deeper than last year going into the warriors series. It’s not even debatable. Not gonna talk about defense even though Ariza has been highly overrated on that end last season but I’ll give u defense. But house alone has been better offensively so far this season on offense compared to Ariza. I don’t know how you could think we were deeper last year going into the WCF compared to right now.
82 games is different from 4. And different from 7. We are on a roll. But we haven't went up against the Warriors best. Just like you are aware that CP3 has been conserving himself for the Warriors..........so have the Warriors been conserving themselves for us. The lineup of death awaits. We do not have the answer.
1. I think the Warriors series will be very interesting. And yes, Harden can repeat buzzer beaters. 2. Yes, Austin and House help. But Faried won't be playable against the Warriors. They will expose his defense. If Faried plays major minutes we're losing the series. 3. I like the Bucks a lot. And I'm looking forward to the Bucks/Raps series. I think it will be great. Was picking the Raps until they traded for Gasol. Now, I'm not sure.
You are changing your argument from first our bench not being deeper to now it is not being usable. Last year we played Harden, Capela, Gordan, Ariza, Tucker, and Green. 6 players because Anderson and Joe Johnson couldn't do anything is a few minutes and didn't even belong on the court. 6 serviceable players in game 7. Now, we have the potential to have Harden, Capela, Gordan, Tucker, Green minus Ariza but plus Paul, House, Faried, Rivers. That's 9 guys. 9. You have Ariza essentially replaced by Paul, House, Faried, and Rivers. You are not rational if you can't see that as a big big plus.
