    Another thing that makes Dream awesome is that he isn't one of these old heads continuously trashing the game today. No bitterness or jealousy.

    To me this isn't a block, it's almost like cheating. He came from the weak side and blocked it. I truly don't have any thought beyond this other than this isnt basketball.

    I think it's also because up until Houston locked him down on the their payroll he was still very relevant to the top talent seeking him out and paying for the chance to be trained by him during the summer. LeBron and Kobe were probably the only ones to get a lot out of it (because Hakeem's footwork isn't something you learn etc., but they were probably the highest shots of gaining something/getting the most out of the sessions). Anyway you don't see that from other players. Like most retired players aren't being sought out by the leagues top talent and then willing to pay on top of that, at least not that I'm aware of.

    I mean that's one reason for sure I think, and Houston was smart to put him on the payroll.

    There's just nothing in sports quite like an emphatic, demolishing block in basketball.

    James' block was a generous sacrifice in the presence the god of rejections.

    Yea, not so much McHale, Hakeem didn't block shots out of the arena so much, but rather in play to start fast breaks, unless your name is Rod Strickland or Kevin Johnson, then maybe...
