well according to Google, Crowder is 6’6 and 235 lbs while Bev is 6’1 and 185 lbs so maybe in some alternate universe there’s a 6’6 Bev that could actually give Harden a hard time, but the Bev we got right now is getting cooked like stir fry...same with Crowder who should be talking to God for help on defending Harden instead

We better hope Tucker can make an open 3 in this series. Because Harden would be doubled a lot by Crowder and Ingles. And put your pink glasses off. It's Utah Jazz. They know how to defend. You have to be objective, because there will be no easy walk in the park.

this thread is about Bev giving Crowder tips on how to guard Harden...Crowder will get cooked...they don’t have anyone who can really check Harden

I am not worried about Utah because I do not believe they can generate enough offense to beat HOU 4 out of 7 times...they defended us well last year, and the series was still a walk in the park

That's just blatand assumptions. He may talk about anything. Like, how to make cookies without putting his hands to the oven.

Whatever. I see you completely bias. There's no point of having this discussion.

Lol, what discussion? Biased how? U disagree that Crowder will get cooked by Harden and that a guy like Bev would be BBQ chicken against the Beard?

Am I wrong, or basketball is a team sport? There would be not much breathing space for Harden, especially if Crowder can defend like this..you just blinded by regular season numbers. I can guarantee you Harden won't average 30 points in this series. And any advice from 1st all defensive team player is a good advice, no matter how badly you dislike them..

On how many shots. 16 out of free-throws. 7 turnovers.

    lol, we’ll see

yeah, I’m sure Crowder got an epiphany during that short convo from Harden stopper Bev and was told some things he had never realized after years of guarding James

please don’t show me videos of Crowder defending 16-17 James Harden when 18-19 Harden is significantly better...

I applaud your homerism towards a Rockets legend, but let's not disrespect Harden. He's having the greatest offensive season of all time. Hakeem was never even close to what Harden is doing on offense this year.

I applaud your employment of ad hominem to defend your position. If you were more confident in your position, you would surely need facts only to defend your position, but I digress.

Harden's current season is indeed, as you point out, the greatest offensive season ever for any Rocket. On top of that, he's not at all a zero defensively.

But he ain't Dream defensively, either.

Dream was the total package. For the better part of two decades. To point out that Harden will need to dominate for more than a half decade and collect more than one piece of jewelry before being mentioned in the same sentence as Dream is perhaps more realistic than homeristic.

Did you see yank's post about enjoying an all-time great while it's happening before our eyes? That's a great take. I agree with that.

no CP3 and crowder has regressed since his BOS days while harden has ascended to greatest offensive player in history.

    the last 2 matchups:

-- crowder played 33min on dec 17th... and beard dropped 47 on 14-31
-- crowder played 35min on feb 2nd.... and beard dropped 44 on 12-22

where are your videos of crowder's lockdown defensive technique for these games?

This. Dream took out Drexler, Barkley, Stockton and Malone, and Patrick Ewing to win a title on a league with one all star. Dude is the only player in NBA history to get quadruple double(s), was a top 5 all-time great defender, and then on top of that won another ring the next year while destroying the reigning MVP and taking out a young Shaq - all from the 6th seed.

I love Harden but he's nowhere close to the Dream in terms of the things he's done with this franchise. He probably already is the second greatest Rocket of all time, but there's a sizable gap between #1 and #2.
