    I am not ready to face them. Not because I think they are super strong.

    I hate to watch their inefficient Offense, and then they rebound all the time.

    Just ugly and a handful.

    My mental readiness is that of a leaf floating on the water, moving smoothly with the ebb and flow of the waves.




    That is to say, I have nothing stable to hold on to, am completely at the mercy of forces bigger than I can control, and could be sucked under to the depths at any moment never to see the light of day again.

    I am always confident till we lose. Then I go through shock, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and then acceptance. Been going through this every year since the titles!

    Short answer "no". Long answer "no, especially if the Rockets do great" .

    It's a melt down here even if the Rockets win it all, damned either way. I'm pulling for Houston regardless and am biased as usual. I've been saying "this is the year" in some form since the 96 loss to the Sonics.
