I told u guys that Rose would end up picking Harden as his MVP.

I new that Giannis stuff was just for tv.

He’s been on Harden side all year to just flip the script the last week of the season.

Harden should be mvp prob won’t but that’s okay we got work to do against Utah and then the juggernauts in the 2nd round.

Cari is so fking annoying. Does ESPN purposefully go look for annoying people to fill these positions? I mean, damn.

    Thanks Jalen!

Personal opinion....If you voted for RW 2 years ago based of historical season, stats, 'most value', ____________ & this year vote for Giannis, you really should question the job you have and the work you do.

Sad....but this year is a hard reminder of how much value 1 game in a seemingly meaningless 82 game season can have. If James makes his buzzer beater or PG misses his, this would forever be seen as another screwup MVP award. 1 game(4th seed) makes is look a little more legit....you can take a huge sigh of relief media types.

They need to rename this award from MVP to MRA - Media Narrative Award, cuz Hardens never winning one again as long as media puts out a narrative at season start.

Too little, too late. He announced he was changing his vote to Giannis right in the middle of when everyone was filling out their ballots. At the last hour / minute, he changes it back to Harden to pander to the basketball purists. He played it both ways. Same thing with Wilbon - too little, too late. His reasoning for choosing Harden could have been made as a stronger point.

You have your voters who are Giannis evangelists. Then, you have your voters who vote Harden and add zero new content to the MVP echo chambers. Their votes for Harden are pity points, tbh. They pitied him on the last hour and didn't think Giannis deserved to win it unanimously.

Not sure if SAS had a vote, but the ONLY national media member who had a vote and was a Harden evangelist was Kevin Pelton (too bad his platform is among those of the stats/analytics). That's it. Jalen with his platform had weak talking points - see his appearance with Sage Steele. Wilbon on PTI doesn't have that big of a platform, hence his recent special guest appearances. Just wished someone had called Sage out on her unexplained bias - with various guests, she was practically saying "You're picking Giannis, right? Right?"
