We were down 2–1 in the first round of the 94-95 playoffs against the 3rd seeded jazz, and came back to beat them. Drexler scores 41 in game 4.
As a Rockets fan, probably Dream's banked in turnaround jumper late in Game 5 in 1995. That's when I believed we were gonna win that series. Cuz a few minutes prior to that, it was not looking good. I was at Game 4 and it was a great victory(aside from Herrera getting injured AGAIN), but I was not feeling optimistic heading back to Salt Lake. Overall, it's hard to imagine a bigger moment than Stockton's 3-pointer in Game 6 in 1997. That shot ended the series and sent the Jazz to the Finals for the first time. Barkley's shocked, silent demeanor in the hallway after that shot still haunts me.
I wasn't crying over that. I was pissed. He blew it again. Remember in 2005 after the 40-point drubbing in Game 7 against the Mavs when he said he'd have the last laugh? Those moments are supposed to drive the truly great players. I think I was actually angrier at T-Mac for his Game 6 performance than Game 7. He half-assed it in the 4th quarter in that one and cost the Rockets a chance to close it out on the road. I guarantee in the back of his mind he was thinking he had Game 7 at home to fall back on, so it was no big deal.
