I'd rather watch Harden ISO a million consecutive times

I could watch House or Harden do that step back all day

 

I appreciate both games

But just like college football I don’t understand how anyone is more entertained watching college basketball and football over the NBA and the NFL.

The game is faster the players are bigger better and more skilled and the product is more exciting because their just a lot more skilled and there supposed to be. Their the best or the best.

I do like college especially the championship games because the crowds are so emotionally invested and the players are also. Most of those kids will never player competitive ever again after there college careers our over.

The raw emotion is what I like but pro sports from a talent and entertainment standpoint is just way better.

And yes I’d rather watch games harden shoot a million step backs then pass around for 30 seconds for a tough slow three.

And harden hits them at a better rate which is mind boggling.

He’s just a cheat Code alien iv come to realize that. Nobody should be as good as he is on a basketball court. We’re all very lucky he wears rockets red. Enjoy it guys cause when he hangs it up we won’t see a guy as good as him for the rest of our lives in all likelyhood. That’s how good that guy is.

 

But that's the right way?

 

I watched some college ball this season what with UH actually making it to the Sweet Sixteen. It was just slower, more boring, less-skilled NBA ball. The 30-second shot clock is agonizing. And it's not like they're using that time to set up clever plays and defenses or anything. Maybe it was like that at one point, but now it's just what you said. It makes for a slow, short game where it's entirely possible for neither team to crack 50 points.

 

I could watch EG having fun and draining threes a million consecutive times too.

 

college ball is so hard to watch...I usually watch a few games of consensus top 10 picks, and then March Madness...that’s about it

I’d probably be more invested if the Rockets were ever in line for a good lotto pick, but Harden ain’t having it

there will usually be 1 player I pay attention to way more than the others...this year it was Ja Morant

 

Its real simple they just don't like the Houston Rockets. Our style of play is just the excuse for not liking us or their justification. Their all self righteous chumps.

 

I used to hate MJ and turned it off whenever he played. It was boring as hell. The Bulls always won. But now I miss him. Greatness cannot be undermined. Time will tell. No one is gonna remember the 45/13 Gannis pulled on Philly 3 years from now, but the crazy numbers put up by James will be remembered forever.

College ball produces glories of Gordon Haywood that just has a ceiling not very high in NBA. Quick one dribble and shoot, seen that so many times. If it were that easy, everyone would be doing what Harden is doing. They can only dream.

 

This just in, college players not as good as NBA players. The level of play used to be higher when the best players stayed 3 or 4 years, but it has always been a visibly lower level of play.It's stupid that there are actually some people that try to claim otherwise.

However even with the lower level of play college ball can be extremely compelling, and that's why people watch. I stayed up far later than I should have because I couldn't turn off that game last night. People don't watch sports just for the level of play. They watch it to blindly support their team, or for the drama if they don't have a dog in the fight.

Rockets fans would hate Harden if he wasn't a Rocket, and that's a fact. Fouls on their team make people angry, and he draws a ton of them. Complaining about his "playstyle" is just made up crap because they don't like that he is so good at drawing fouls.

 

I find the college game boring for the most part for the same reason. That's why I don't watch the majority of them. Only uptempo basketball teams at the college level interest me.

 

Harden is multidimensional. He can get to the basket, hit layups/ floaters, shoot, pass, dunk occasionally. Drawing fouls is an art of great players, but it's a lie made up by the media, that this is all he does. His defense is better too, along with his high class rebounding.

 

MJ is the classic example of iso at it's best. He made fewer assists than Harden, but he was a great winner.

Baron Davis shattered the top seeded Mavs with his shooting/ scoring in the 1st round, with good support. He wasn't a pass first PG.
Harden can go deep into the playoffs with good team support since he is a brilliant passer too.

 

I do rather watch Harden do 100 different things on the court than watch Klay Thompson do the only thing he ever does on the offensive end - catch and shoot, catch and shoot & catch and shoot.

 

march madness was definitely more exciting than seeing a team so bad, the rockets themselves left the bench with half a quarter to spare

 

College basketball is amazing, they try all game long, they play hard all game long.

The NBA is about the last 6 minutes of a game - with a big exception.....the playoffs.....NOTHING beats NBA playoff basketball.

Give me talent over hard workers who can't make layups. You can get highlights out of even bad NBA games. College games are just boring.
