    I think you will be hard pressed to find a TTU alum disappointed. After the Elite 8, everything was Money dipped in Gravy.

    It just felt like this was Virginia's time.. losing to a 16 seed then come back to win the championship. shrug* whatever.

    Ralph Sampson has to be thrilled. I'm glad he got to be there and see his school win the championship, but I was rooting for Tech. What a tough loss.

    Not even mad. Hopefully a National Championship birth will get eyes on the program. Nobody wants to go to Lubbock and play. Beard got here with a dude that played down the street from the school and a bunch of cast offs. If he can get some real talent.

    If I saw it right.... a TT defender flew in from weakside to defend a 2 point shot near end of regulation, only to have VA pass out to an open man to hit a 3 instead and tie the game ..... could not believe it.

    It was hard to believe that was fair, but at least it was close for 40 minutes.

    My cousin's husband's Dad passed away suddenly last week. I see them several times a year and he is a great guy. I know he wanted this one bad. Hopefully he did get a few hours from their run to escape his head a bit.
