    It was his 15th tech.

Durant and Iggy are totally different people on the Warriors than they were on their previous teams. I actually really liked both of them and thought they were great characters (even though Durant has now admitted that his good guy persona in OKC was a facade). Iguodala has literally devolved into a child. :(

Nope, no techs. Curry made his shot, then trotted by the ref and pointed into his face from just a few feet away, even turning backwards to keep pointing as he moved past him. Iggy joined in the pointing and laughing from nearby.

After the call on Durant that put KAT on the line with 0.5 seconds left and the score tied, Iggy stood near the basket, looked right at the ref and sarcastically clapped and laughed.

Can you tell I'm still pissed off this wasn't a bigger deal to the league and the ref's association? :)

Yep, that's...unusual. We all know what would have happened had, say...any Rockets done that exact same thing. Heck, Rockets have been given techs before the game during the handshakes (see:Drexler)

We should all hit up Silver's twitter account and the league's facebook, and ask why such preferential treatment? Is the league biased, or incompetent? Those are the only two choices. Which is it, Adam?

Moreso, the owner should DEMAND an explanation from Silver. This can be in private...because we know what would happen if it were public. But if owners push enough, things change. This sort of blatant bias isn't good (unless either they, or Silver, think it is).

I'm not seeing how that isn't a fine, but a suspension. Except, of course, warrior bias.

I find it comical that the league still trys to deny this, when it is so obviously true. Why does the NBA have this problem, when, mostly, no other sport does (well...soccer?...which is terrible for the NBA is that's the comparable). The answer is...the other sports think that their sport alone is sufficient to generate interest and revenue, whereas the NBA tries to manipulate it to what they think is most profitable. They think, currently, that having the Warriors win everything is in their best interest...so they stage things so that's what happens. It's patently obvious..as things like this show.

Yet they are worried about the impact of gambling...when they themselves rig outcomes? Comical.

You know why they were so concerned about Tim Donaghy? Not because he bet on games...but because he might spill the beans on how corrupt it all actually was.

In other sports you have rare occurrences where this comes up (the Immacculate reception in NFL, which was...40 years ago)...the NBA has this on a weekly basis. That isn't a coincidence...it is a symptom of how they run things. And it's not because ref'ing the NBA is hard...ref'ing ANY professional sport is hard. It's because manipulating games while maintaining the appearance you aren't is hard...and they are failing at it, at least to anyone who is paying any attention. But, alas...most fans are casual, and they don't.

Stevie is a spineless sock puppet for league office.

Calling attention to the Golden team isn't a good draw
