a sign and trade with shandon anderson and carlos rogers for davis and jerome williams... and does anyone know if would work? ------------------ "Wahooo"-homer I'm not only a fan but I'm also the bartender at clutchcity chat For the last time I'm not Tybrave!!!!!
I like that trade because Im a Rockets fan but why would Toronto trade 2 good players for 2 scrubs? ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
I don't think Shandon is a scrub. He's not the $150,000,000 contract guy that he and his agent are hyping up; but some teams out there could use a solid 2 guard. It's all a matter of where will Shandon play, where can we send him in a sign and trade. The above scenario is giving up too little and getting too much. Besides, Davis will more than likely sign in Orlando and JYD is a free agent, so he doesn't have to be in a sign and trade. ------------------
Why not deal Shandon Anderson (sign and trade) to Atlanta (his home) and our #22 for their pick, assuming they don't hit the #1, #2 or #3 lotto? This way they get a veteran "Jason Richardson" and a first rounder. We use their pick for Diop and get Joe Johnson with our #13. If we really got creative we could then trade Cato and Walt Williams and our #18 to Sacramento, New Jersey, Cleveland, Detroit or Boston to get a Griffin, Battier, Bradley or Woods/Haywood (the latter to get us through the Diop growing period). Keep Taylor and Hakeem! ------------------ Writesmart
I like that trade because Im a Rockets fan but why would Toronto trade 2 good players for 2 scrubs? Huh? I am one of the biggest Shandon criticizers out there, but you're calling Jerome Williams a good player and Shandon Anderson a scrub? Jerome brings good energy, and he rebounds. That's it. No offensive post moves. No range on the jumper. Can get beaten on defense due to lack of size and physical ability. Jerome Williams is essentially Carlos Rogers healthy all the time. There are a lot of flaws in Shandon's game in our system, as myself and many others have posted in the past, but to call him a scrub and Jerome Williams a good player is ridiculous. ------------------ President of the Mo Taylor, Jason Collier, and draft Richard Jefferson fan club! what do you think of francis, mobley for kobe bryant and derek fischer? i know its far fetched and will never happen, but we could be the team kobe gets his 60 a night on. if that what it comes to. i wouldnt seriously want this to happen im just imagining scenerios. ------------------ make it stop.
instead Kobe just scores 40 plus on us I was at that game in Houston. He had at least 4 alley-oop dunks in the first half. It was very frustrating as I hate Kobe. As far as the deal, I think that would freakin awesome. Despite his age, I think Davis has been playing some really good ball as of late. (on a side note, Toronto has a well composed team this year and should give the sixers a run for their money) and Jerome Williams would make the perfect Rocket role player off the bench. It is not that I think he is light years better than Shanderson, but I think he is more of what we need right now. ------------------ I hope, when they die, cartoon characters have to answer for their sins.
Yeah i was there too. I think that was the night he shot like 15-20. ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
I was listening to the Jazz sports broadcast after the Mavs win. The were talking about how much they missed Shandon. They said that Shandon could have stopped finley. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Bookit (edited May 06, 2001).]
Damn they are still talking about Anderson? Get Over It. ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
C'mmonnnn.......JYD played amazing defnse against the Knicks and he can grab tons of rebounds. He can defend small forwards too.... He can score off putbacks and offensive rebounds.. I think he'd be a great starter, I'd try to sign him if we lost Mo AND Webber..... ------------------
Toronto have Carter and Mo Pete, and now they have Alvin Williams taking time at the 2 also... Where would Shandon fit in on a rotation like that? ------------------
