Earlier this year the Doncic/Young trade looked really bad for the Hawks. Now Trae Young looks like the real deal and the Hawks have the Mavs 2019 1st round pick. The Mavs pick is top five protected and the Mavs have the sixth worst record in the NBA. This could work out nicely for the Hawks.
I reference games like this when there are people who say Durant is the best player in the NBA. He looks very suspect without playing on the most stacked team in nba history. The last time he had to play on a “normal” good team, be had one of the biggest chokes in WCF history blowing a 3-1 lead with an eventual MVP in his team. Guys like Giannis and Harden do more with less. Playing on a stacked team that would still win with you only putting up 20 ppg really clouded peoples perception of Durant. Highest scoring player on the best team =/= Best player in the league
Oh yeah the media told me any superstar could score 50 points if they took enough shots, so why doesn’t Durant have 60 tonight without Curry? He can take as many shots as he wants without Curry.

Durant is no where near the player Harden is. With 3 other all stars on his team, he got blown out by a lottery team at home! Next time someone says Durant is the best player in the league, I will come back to this thread to have a good laugh!
What are the odds that the Warriors shoot 4-30 from three again, or Durant and Klay combining to shoot 0-12? Such a strange outcome. I'm sure the Curry fans loved seeing it.
I don't understand why all the hate is focused on Durant. Klay was just as bad. In fact, the Warriors entire team got exposed.
