I'm in Chicago right now. That is a solid price in Chicago. In Texas my brother can get it for under $1 a pound. Texas is really inexpensive.
That requires $10 purchases on other items, no? My best pure price of the year still officially holds the podium. sarcasm? joke? I was just asking a question. btw: I can't take advantage of HEB deals, but next time you see Kroger with a 99-cent sale, let me know, because I can get that price here, if they advertize it. Would be much appreciated. Same with a 99-cent Shoulder deal, as I overlook those sometimes and regret it. In fact, I'll buy you one,...we could call it losing a bet (per OP).
Omfg my Kroger wouldn't even honor their own digital coupon... Had it loaded to my account, showed it to them, they are not participating. Grilled steaks , corn, potatoes, and a bacon wrapped meatloaf instead. But was looking forward to that loin. Not tenderloin, but still would have been good.
You have to do it via their pickup service (Click-List). That means doing "check out and payment" in the online shopping cart. If you take it to the check-out line at the store yourself, they won't honor it. You should be able to call and verify whether that was the issue. further, the online checkout won't show the discout price. It will say "Final payment" adjustments made at the time of pickup.
two potential philosophical problems with the claim "doesn't ... harm animals." First, is death a "harm"? that's debatable. Second, would pigs specifically exist if there were no demand for pork? The pig is the only domestic animal that has no non-meat characteristic (e.g., wool, milk, etc). As the saying goes, the pig's best friend is the lover of bacon.
You don't have to eat those pigs. There are better ones. Same with chickens and cows and ducks and sheep and goats and fish and.... Not unless he's got a really smart spider friend.
awesome, thanks for headsup. Going to call my brother-in-law in Houston to buy one of them briskets. I'll be there to smoke at end of month. Here, I'll probably have to drive to Denver. Boulder doesn't carry full briskets (packer's cut). big pet peeve of mine.
