Championship Bring back Webster and hopefully he's healthy. Draft a cb or 2. Then maybe there will be enough depth so we won't have to see Foles do in Jacksonville what he did in Philly twice a year.
Well it is shaping up to be a mediocre secondary. I know.......... everyone is surprised . "Obligations met....... Daddy would be proud!...... Now more time to socialize with the River Oaks crowd and live off Daddies Enron money." - Cal "Mediocre" McNair
We posting pre-season stats? Hahahaha The word used to describe him is "versatile." Of course it is. Texans favorite skill is versatility. Why sign two average players when you can sign one below average player to play multiple positions.
This....... he is versatile and durable are the terms we keep hearing...... we heard the same thing about the offensive linemen we brought in a few years ago. You know what we conveniently don't hear? We never hear they are really good at football..... that is because we really don't target those players very often. All we need a one year gap fillers to get us up to 8 wins so everyone saves their jobs and Watt, Watson and Hopkins can get another year older.
Stop complaining and wait to judge these guys when they're on the field Dude I'm pretty sure you're better than Wright. I have no clue how he's maintained a career, he's sucked everywhere he's played
Boddy-Calhoun is actually good. Similar player to K-Jack but I would say better as a slot cover guy, not as great of a tackler (although still good). I really like what Gaine has done with the secondary thus far. Setting themselves up nicely to take a boundary corner with one of their 2nds. Mullen, Layne, Isaiah Johnson, Ya-Sin, Love. One of those guys will be a Texan.
Nah. This almost confirms offensive linemen will be the focus at the top of the draft. They might even move up to get one of the top tackles. They will add some more CBs, just not at the top of the draft. Joseph Roby Colvin Boddy-Calhoun Bademosi Burton Kelly I still would like another CB like Breeland but at this point, it's doubtful.
